Below is an example of a restored photograph, showing repairs to a single tear in the original. A more detailed example of this panorama is available here.

The example below shows how I removed crease lines and fading from an old photograph to restore its contrast and overall appeal.

The next example shows removal of color blotches and overall color and contrast restoration.

The next example shows how I repaired severe damage on a photo on behalf of Operation Photo Rescue. OPR requires that no imagined content be substituted for sections that are so severely damaged that they can not be reconstructed; hence, the neutral grey area to the left represents lost content.

The next example shows how I repaired a photo on behalf of Operation Photo Rescue that had extensive scratches and water marks throughout. OPR requires that no sharpening be attempted, hence the "after" image retains the original's characteristic soft focus.

This last one is not so much an example of restoration as manipulation. The photographer, being absent from the first photo, wanted to be included in the group shot, so I inserted an image of him taken from a similar photograph.
